I really feel for our service men and women, more so the family's when they loose a loved one :sorry: but that has absolutely nothing to do with this topic

Feeling sad when an actor dies is perfectly normal even for the simple reason were not going to get to see anything new of his fine acting skills anymore

He was the lead actor in one of the best TV shows ever and it gave millions of people a lot of enjoyment, so it's only natural it gets a lot of news coverage.

Old bloke I used to work for has a son in law in the army, (quite a high ranking NCO, not sure what rank though..) and said he told his daughter that if anything was to ever happen to him on duty, she wasn't to appear on the news in tears saying that the soldiers shouldn't be doing this and that like so many war widows did a few years back. He said if he died he would do so doing the job he was trained to do, enjoyed doing and he went into the job with the full knowledge of what might happen.. I feel sorry for anybody who looses a loved one, but I think the media played a lot of these grieving women when we were loosing lads on a regular basis by getting them on air to speak out about whatever war their dead partners were taking part in..
