Dheff 6
My uncles old bitch had this same issue, where we drained the fluid for it to come back. Turned out to be Aural Hematoma. I cant remember too much about it so I googled it and found this http://www.helium.com/items/1047492-what-causes-fluid-in-a-dogs-ear-lobes. If it was me I would get my dog to the vets for a blood test to rule out anything more serious. My uncles bitch has something wrong with her blood cells, so even with surgery to remove it, it will keep coming back.... Hope this helped. Dan
sandymere 8,263
Is it the ear lobe or inside? Next step would be vets anyway.
Annmarie09 5
Aural haematoma needs to be drained and then stitched a certain way to stop it filling back up til it heals, otherwise the dog will end up with a "cauliflower ear". Not an uncommon injury in dogs
stanley 5
Common in spaniels I believe
