Theres a big gang of them down on the river near Pembroke castle, friendly enough like providing you toss them a few salad rolls. Its like a swan toll

way it should be.

oh iv no doubt they could achieve that millet, and hes a c**t of a dog for wanting to get into stuff. more so when they got young to protect. watched the same birds for weeks sitting on eggs, and now there hatched they just sit around wherever they want. you would have thought they would have avoided the path though. apart from poles and pike. what would brave a nip from a swan to get at there young?

reason i ask i seen a duck last week with about 8 young swimming behind her, yesterday she was down to 3. im guessing pike.

Is there any documented evidence of a swan actually breaking mans arm them?

Complete and utter bollocks, Frann. But, I'll grant you, it's an urban myth that's been going around for a hundred years or more! :icon_eek:

Id agree with that but a young child or an elderly person i wouldnt doubt it for a second. Some power in them......
