Just watched it, always came over as a decent straight up type of bloke and this programmed reinforced that for me...

He got in with some tough men, deserves a bit more credit than he got IMO...

what i liked about bruno there was none of the pathetic trash talking leading up to a fight not like todays lot ...he never seemed to have a bad word about anyone just got on with it ,fury, price ,and the rest could do well to look and learn from him ...jmo..

Frank is a very rare type of fella......not many people are the same with wealth as they are without it.........Frank has remained exactly the same person from living in a flat share above a dry cleaners in Mile End to living the multi millionaire life out in the country........he,s what we would call " one of your own ".....

Just a shame he spent much of life with a snake attached to him !!.....But like anyone else you live and learn.

My brother met him in Vegas and had a bit of crack with him for a while, said he was a really nice man.

I only know what I have seen on the telly and he always came across genuine, no old side......I for one wish him all the best as I think he is a gent

Wouldnt really class myself as a boxing fan but i often wondered if his muscle mass hindered his performance.....he was a beast of a man but he always looked easy tired in fights that i remember him in? Came across as a right character though...

It's hard to really judge someone from what you see on telly, but you can normally make a fair enough guess if they come over as a prick.... Frank never did, on top of that he was a world champion and that can't be taken lightly....

As you said mate I too wish him all the best...

Ive always said Frank was a good boxer, like most of the Lawless stable he did the basics well...........but fighting just didnt come natural to him......he just didnt have the natural mentality to swap it out in a slugfest.....if he was given time and distance he could be a very hurtful puncher and a good allround boxer but when he was caught and had to fight fire with fire he just didnt have that in his toolbox.

I have a lot of admiration for Frank he wasnt blessed with silky skills and talent but he made the best of what he had and he just refused to quit on himself......he pursued his dream until he accomplished it....and how many of us can say we accomplished our dream.....i like the man quite a bit.

met him a few times --- he`s a gentleman went out his way to sign 100s of photos for me and was guest speaker at a charity do I ran --mind he did take the piss out of my old Vauxhall omega --- in the ring he did what he did with the tools he had not many can say they boxed on the world stage .. it was a pleasure to spend some time in his company --------- I think he wanted to give one of the waitresses the old black and decker :D
