Then something like a referendum on the UK remaining part of the EU is a legal right of the people and should not have conditions attached like Cameron saying we will renegotiate our standing in the EU and if I win the next election i may give you a referendum and under the right of self determination as with Scotland they have been given the right to remain part of the UK or not. Will Wales and Northern Ireland have the same right?

the thing is we can openly slag the government without the fear of being beheaded for our views, if enough people feel strongly enough about an issue they will vote for it not kill there neighbors for it

 

A new President has just been elected in Iran with a 52% of the vote his nearest Rival had 16% That was a mjority of 18 million the Western goverments accept it was a free and fair election so at least some progress is being made

They stopped 4 one was a previous President Ali Akbar Rafsanjani the reson because he is nearly three others two are under house arrest for subversive activities this was encoutaging rioting in the streets these riots were funded by the old royalist supporters who have tried to undermine the Islamic Revolution since 1979 much like the people who were imprisoned here for facebooking about the riots the fourth off hand some fraud case not sure
