" He claimed the parent birds had been stolen by a rival breeder. Seventeen months later he produced two parents, but the court was told that these were also taken from the wild. "

Derek, who was the rival breeder who conveniently stole your parent birds ?

And why was half the wing missing from one of the "parents"

Also when you were seen trying to post a parcel through a postbox while wearing gloves and the police stopped you. Why did the parcel ,which was addressed to the the local WLO, contain a peregrine falcon chopped into pieces.

Another example of Cannings devious mind.

I was working one night and my Inspector got a call from Northumbria Police confirming I was at work. Mr Canning had been sitting in his taxi in Hexham when he was alledgedly approached and threatened by a Scotsman wearing a balaclava. I was always glad I had an alibi or else you never know what I might have been accused of.

would you not be better spending your time tracking down the thief who took your parent birds, Surely this man is most to blame for your short inconveniance in prison.

I wonder why he just stole the parents and not the youngsters ?

Good point Steve. I know I would be keen to find out who it was, especially when one of them had half a wing missing when I got it back. No true falconer could sleep at nights knowing some dirty b*stard had done that to one of his prize breeding falcons. :whistling::whistling:
