whippet 99 2,613 Posted June 16, 2013 Report Share Posted June 16, 2013 a lot of kids homework now is complicated because there now looked at what resources there using to get correct answers and results..........which is the way the world is going ...........depending on I.T & AND PC for there research of such answers............ im gobsmacked at my sons maths home work as of course its going to be more complicated and look more alien to us because if it is the same as when we were at school then there are questions what need answering ...........as a nation we are advancing and so are our children,.............with new teaching methods and resources , the future is bright ,.........the future THL.........LOL 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

What's wrong with the times tables, add/subtract/division, working out percentages, 'Johnny had 650 apples he sold 461 at market how many does he have left', you know stuff they can use in the real world??
