youcanthide...BANG 1,051
when i was persuaded to go with the village numpty and his lurcher for a mooch. never had an interest in running dogs but he was on and on for weeks about going out with his dog. so i took him on one of my permissions with my ferret. all the way down there hes telling me all these stories about him and his mates dogs, the dumbest people imaginable, think if the inbetweeners went hunting, put the ferret down a 4 holer the lad had his dog on the slip. rabbit ran one way the dog ran totally the other getting smaller and smaller as he ran to the other length of the field. the lad set of running after him all while im layed rolling on the floor trying my hardest not to piss myself with laughter, by the time i got up and recovered there was no sight of him or the dog, so i grabbed my ferret and left. saw him two days later asked him how he got on and he told me he had a fox whilst on the way back home. yes course you did ask kizzap13 from here he will vouch for how much of a bullshitter this lad is 2 Quote Link to post

Dubba 72
This is probably one of my scariest memories about 10 years ago. Out for a bank holiday walk on some of my permission, there were lots of people out walking and a couple having a picnic and enjoying the sunshine. The two borders were running a hedge line and the four Lurchers were being prats chasing each other thought the grass enjoying themselves. What I didn't know was the two Roe bucks that I'd seen the day before had led up in a T junction in the hedge. The borders were broken to deer but the Roe didn't know that and bolted straight between the Lurchers. Had the dogs running in different directions and the borders running in circles shouting there heads of while the picnickers wondered what the hell going on and I was wondering what the hell I was going to do. It did get a lot worse as you can imagine but I won't go into that. Quote Link to post

swg dave 334
I remember an old bitch i had called Bonny, we was out lamping one night back in the very early ,s,we were having a few runs and catching a few rabbits. I slipped her on this one paticular rabbit, and it headed straight towards a fallen oak, i thought just keep the lamp on, the rabbit run under and out the other side, and how she never ran into it, i don,t know, she jumped the tree and caught the rabbit. I can honestly say, i sh#t myself in that split second, it was amazing to see the end result but a memory that has always stayed with me.. Quote Link to post
