04fox8 168
Hello Folks, Just glancing through the GWCT Review here and noted something saying:- 'Fenn traps are unlikely to meet humaneness requirements' Don't want to cause concern, as I haven't read the article yet, but does anyone else know any more? Is this for any trapping? Is it for use during any 'trials'? Is it relating to certain areas?? Thanks Folks. Quote Link to post
Matt 160
This debate has been going on for years. I can well remember 10 years ago being told that buying Fenns was a waste of money because it was thought that the new testing regime would make them obsolete. The EU has 'bought in' to the international fur trapping standards, and we keep being told that the change is imminent, but as I say, this has been going on for over ten years. Even if the EU do want these new standards of testing imposed on us, we will have the ability to 'opt out' which given the current attitude towards all things Europe is a distinct possibility. Either way, I wouldn't worry too much. Quote Link to post
04fox8 168
Cheers! Like I say, hadn't read much into it, just saw the 'caption' beside a photo in their Mag. Quote Link to post
