Bryan 1,362
What you're seeing if how your dogs works. The number can't be still until the dog is totally still, otherwise it wouldn't be accurate. stick it back on meters and it'll appear more stable because the numbers you quoted would only vary from 6 to 2 meters instead of 20 to 6 feet. Things aren't simple underground, there is back and forth, you're just seeing it on the box now. B 1 Quote Link to post
WEDGEY 753
i think sorry i know the pieps box is times better than the red box,,, the red box is heavy no sound so what it reads in feet its shit and not worth the money Quote Link to post
s.e.s.k.u 1,893
A friend has the new box and had no problems uses it in metres just bought one myself . Only need a reading when the dog settles anyway so can't see your issue really ? Iv not used one in feet though take bryans advice and switch to metres. Quote Link to post

UcanRUNbutUcantHIDE 190
Prefer the pieps but use the new one more cause its easier to clean and harder to break, my pieps mysteriously broke one day in the field so I always carry 2. I'm goin for a Barryvox I think see how that goes Quote Link to post
