BenjaminCadd 109
Has anyone ever used one of these kits? http://www.konceptus.pl/tuning-kit-for-air-arms-prosport.html Its half the price of most kits, but is it half the quality? Just wondered if it was worth a shot as it wont break the bank to try it out? Many thanks. Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,587
Poor spelling in their advertising... What else do they not take care of? I wouldn't bother. 1 Quote Link to post
thursodog 353
Had a look at the 97 kit and agree it looks like sh*t. The top hat and piston guide look like they'd rattle about inside the spring and the liner looks like brass which will wear out quickly and contaminate the inner workings of your gun. I know this as i've fitted one previously and it nearly ended in tears. I like the idea of inserts for the mod but they look poor too, I'll be making a couple when i get time. I'm after a tuning kit and owing to the fact that Simon has just had a kit from Tony Wall fitted by Andy and the feedback is very positive I'll give you one guess who i'm phoning in the morning. BenjaminCadd 109
Yes that's what i was thinking if something seems too good or too cheap to be true it normally is, cheers for your opinions. Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,587
The thing is Benjamin, the Pro Sport's a top quality spring air rifle. What does this motley collection of 'washing machine bits' do that supposedly makes it even better? I take seriously the expert opinion of fellows like Chris/Thursodog and his expertise in engineering and gunsmithing, very well shown on threads here before.. If he can see faults just from looking at the pics then there will likely be trouble with them in practice. Simon 1 Quote Link to post
