But after seeing a few too many of these shows on TV nowadays and the load of bullshit/vote rigging/public opinion/contestant sob stories/lies/etc etc all leaves me thinking what a load of pish. That lass who won the voice last year was crap compared to most of the other finalists/semi finalists...what about that bloke called "jaz" he was awsum.? Anyone remember Steve Brookstein one of the very 1st talent show winners ? he cant even get a gig these days because he would,nt play the game with Mr Cowell.. The guy has an amazing voice and is a very genuine nice guy who has worked in the music buisiness all his life,But he is probably worse off now than before he went on the X-factor/BGT. lets start a thread with..where are they now ? " the winners " Its not really the winners that have done well....its the ones that have been 2nd and 3rd like Olly Murs, 1 Direction, JLS....all doing great( well not JLS cause they finished but were still doing well).......Leona Lewis is probably the only one who won who has done well. excactly Lab..how many names ? not many out of all them thousands of auditions and contestants.. and all the trillions of pounds it has made the industry. my advice..If your a talented artiste of musical type and thinking of fame and fortune.. write and perform your own music and do it off your own back on youtube/facebook/tinternet blogs etc etc and raise your own profile,do your own thing and dont become an industry puppet to anyone like mr Cowell or his croanies. True obvious talent will always shine through and last forever. We all have albums and favorite bands/singers/even comedians etc etc that would not get past 20 seconds on the X-factor buzzer panel.. I think all these shows would get more credibility if they refrained from promising the contestants the world for winning and just concentrated on being a singing game show, which is what they really are. Think they're at saturation point now with all the different winners from all the different game shows and all that, no one gives a shit for the winners once the competition's over apart from kids and old people..
