Lab 10,979
ol lads what a carry on .....it would be f****n hilarious if it was anyone else.....im sick of hearing the walrus keep making these excuses about injuries and playing the best team in the land.....are we supposed to say " oh ok then fatman never mind chin up ".....this f****n joker robbed the club of any sort of success in a competition we have a good record in when he put the kids out at Forest......im no football coach but during that game he took off a French international centre half to save him for City......then didnt play him and instead put a left back at centre half ....to which we then got ripped open down the middle of the pitch !! The man has made terrible decision after terrible decision how bad does it have to get ? The only tiny consolation to all this is that sometimes you learn more about yourself from losing as you do from winning....and bias as i probably am im now positive that we have the truest most loyal fanbase of any club ive seen in all my years travelling the country watching football.......we knew we was going to watch the youth team against Forest the other day and took 5000......we knew we was in for a hiding at City last night and not only sold our allocation but asked for more !......I guarentee we will sell out our allocation at Cardiff to end a week of over 1000 miles round trips, not 1 goal to cheer and seen 11 conceded so far....... noise and atmosphere like we was Premier League Champions !......apparently Sky had to reduce the sound last night as the " f**k off Sam Allardyce " chant was coming through too loud over the telly ........No excuses from our lot like its just after xmas,we,ve had a lot of games lately, its pouring of rain !!!.........With the state this clubs in all we have at the moment unfortunately.....is each other.....and for better or worse the crossed hammers will always come first !! It's amazing how a couple of thumpings in football can alter a mind. I remember I put up a clip of the Celtic fans doing the huddle at Parkhead. 60k fans with there backs to the game causing an amazing atmosphere and I'm sure you replyed "that's a load of bollocks it's the football your there for"......???? Apart from that there's no one can say you don't do your bit for your club mate. A proper fan.
gnasher16 30,025
Ask any Wigan fan if he would swap last seasons FA cup for still being in the Prem , the answer will be an emphatic , no fekin way , to win a trophy makes your team part of history , its forever , your names on the cup and in the books , it,s undeniable , its what makes football supporters proud of their clubs , in 20, 30 ,40 , years time you reminisce about it , I v yet to see a suppoeter get all misty eyed about the time we didn't get relegated . When you go to games it makes you part of this history , you were there , you shared the moment , your support helped , your part of the clubs DNA , you share the win ,you the club , the players , your all one . I,v been an every week home and away supporter , and now I,m a telly / occasional supporter , the feelings are as different as night and day . Absolutely bang on !.....What Allardyce did against Forest go,s against the whole essence of what sport is about......the City game we would swallow that as they are head and shoulders above us on any day of any week but he will never be forgiven for the Forest game it hurt the fans more than he will ever understand. A winners medal is not about a chunk of metal to put in the cabinet.....it should be about the memory of the day.....our last trophy was the 1980 Fa Cup....i remember it like it was yesterday.....the feeling in my stomach the morning of the game,i remember the weather, the walk up Wembley Way, who i was with where we had breakfast.....everything about the day is clear as though it was yesterday....and i didnt even get a medal ......winning is the ultimate high in sport......and he gave that away against Forest and with it lost any last hope of keeping fans on his side.....we are not a club thats quick to sack managers but theres a line you just cant cross and he crossed it. Passions are certainly running high right yeah......this sort of stuff is all ive been hearing today everywhere ive been right yeah .......everyones Uncle Terry bless him ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3qjm7NBaAM

I think that " huddle " thing is a cringeworthy embarrassing pile of nonsense yes....................but each to their own.........my point is " creating a fantastic natural atmosphere with 60k home fans watching a team thats winning and flying high is not a difficult thing to do...........................5k away fans creating an atmosphere in a game they are getting soundly thrashed and humiliated i think takes some doing Lab. WILF 46,605
All things aside, I wish we had stuck with Big Sam when the fecking Venkys wankers came in. Mid table mediocrity in the Prem would do it for me Cheers, D. I wish you still had him an all !! Lol

He is good enough to be successful at a big club like Real Madrid, or so he said a while back anyway!
