west ham are in a mess , but what will sacking big sam achieve ? He knows how to grind out a result with mediocre players . Park the bus and catch em on the break or the long ball . Thats why he was so keen to sign carroll . Prior to this season carroll was put through a rigorous medical before we signed him , and i think so far he has played half a game . Sams mistake was to put all his eggs in one basket with carroll , and the type of player is always going to be prone to injury !! If we get rid of sam and get someone else , ok it might give the team a bit of a lift for a couple of games , but what then ? I believe in stability in the club and i think that sam has the ability to get us out of this mess , WEST HAM dont have the luxury of a billionare owner , the only way to get a result against the big boys with a team like west ham is Sams style of football , it aint pretty but it works .

. Were has its worked lol

Theres always 1 :D .............You are in a tiny minority mate.......can you seriously see anything getting better with him in charge ?.....whos decision was it to pay a club record fee on a crock ?.....whos decision was it to pay the second biggest fee in the clubs history on a bang average player ?......whos decision was it to let Carlton Cole go and then get him back again ?......whos decision was it to give last weeks fa cup game away in doing so possibly damaging good upcoming players ?......

Mate i could sit here all night giving reasons as could 99% of Hammers fans........apart from the glaring mistakes he is making on the pitch and in the dressing room......the manager is ultimately responsible for keeping up the good name of a club/business......he is dragging us through the mud backwards !!

Don't take this the wrong way mate, but explain to me again how it's working?.........in his career as a manager he has lost as many games as he has won.

"In ain't pretty but it works"........does it?

Just run me through 3 at the back with inexperience and/ or sub standard backs and 6 in the mid with not one leader amongst them?

Football is a very fickle game !! Last season i was happy , this one im not !! Ask any Arsenal fan , the begining of the season they wanted rid of venga , now they dont !! Dont get me wrong im sick to the stomach watching West ham loseing 5-0 6-0 , and i want it to stop .Ultimately i think Sams on borrowed time .

You know your F---KED when you get an open letter to the fans stateing the boards full support , its a bit like a politician thats been caught shaging his secretary , he appears with his wife on his arm outside his house and she gives him her full support , they are usually divorced a week after .

Was at the Forest match Sunday hammers fans were singing Paolo Di Canios name at the end. What do you lads think to the idea of him replacing Allerdyce?

It wont happen......but being an old romantic id like to see him back :D ......Id prefer Bilic though.

Thats where you are different mate because very few fans were happy last year......just because we had an ok finish doesnt mean we were happy it was still appalling football you cant just sweep away long standing traditions as a sacrifice for a mid table finish.......Allardyce was never going to be liked here his style of football was never going to be accepted.....but yes he took us up so deserved another crack the next season despite the horrible football.......but horrible that keeps you up is one thing, horrible football that takes you down.....................

I loved him as a player , and he did a good enough job a Swindon , but i just cant see his style of managing working with premiership premadonnas , and what will probably be championship premadonas .

If you want pretty Football , thats one thing . Rome wasnt built in a day . I was happy last season , and i had hoped that we could build on it this season .

Personally I don't particularly want pretty football, I am sure for most fans just football would be enough...........football is played on the floor.

Fair enough mate , we both want the same thing and that is to see the club we love , get the success it deserves , difference is i would take a win no matter how it looked .

Shovel leaner I wasn't trying to be dick to ya mate and I ain't trying to come over all mr claret and blue......just saying that when your team is lacking confidence you have to get them back in the comfort zone......4-4-2, keep it tight and disciplined, try and keep the ball, simple passing......it rebuilds the confidence.

3 at the back (unless they are top of the tree players) is souls destroying for the whole team, especially if the mid is getting by passed........backs get pulled all over the show, forwards are trying to live on scraps.......it really is a terrible system

A man with BFS style of football playing one up front.......tell me the logic?

If its not coming off its mentally destroys players and it ain't coming off at all......your never in possession long enough to do anything ( that's not west ham, that's any team in general)

Honestly mate ( and you may have played a lot of football and I am telling you how to suck eggs ) it's the stuff amature managers do when they have watched too much telly
