West Ham In Trouble

Recommended Posts

The bonus to Carrol coming back is obvious as he,s a good player.....the downside is it encourages us to smash long balls up the pitch even more than we are already.....i,ll be amazed if the boy sees the season out without another injury or 2 you just cant put all your eggs in 1 basket like that.

Ask any Wigan fan if he would swap last seasons FA cup for still being in the Prem , the answer will be an emphatic , no fekin way , to win a trophy makes your team part of history , its forever , you

its a shame carrol was under that fat greedy kunt mike ashley at newcastle really as if he stayed there and never had these RIDICULOUS transfer fees on his head then he would of been a great player!!! unfortunately he has ended up a journeyman who will never live up to what could of been!!!! west ham fans bleat on about homegrown talent and carrol is a million miles away from where he WANTS to be playing football..........in newcastle.........

So just because West Ham have produced more big name international footballers than any club in England....that means they shouldnt be able to buy other English footballers !.....I wonder how many players actually play for the club they support !!

i never said that!!! andy carrol growing up would never of thought "i hope one day i play for west ham" or "i hope i have to justify having over 50million quid spent on me" but thats where he finds himself when all he wanted was to play on the pitch he watched from the stands as a kid!!! yes your right not many play for the team they support but with carrol it was different imo as he was sold without a say in it!!! if he came through under bobby robson and freddy shepard do you think he would of been sold on then???

It just doesnt work like that....we have a boy here Mark Noble grew up round the corner who said from day 1 he refuses to play for any other club than West Ham............while fans love that sort of stuff its not realistic if you had a loyalty to Tescos its not going to stop you working for Asda if the price is right.......and rightly so.......the ONLY loyalty in football comes from fans everybody knows that.

I was well pleased with the turn out......a grand attendance of 14k !!........Everybody id spoke to leading up to the game were determined to vote with their feet and thats exactly what happened.............if he wants to give 1 cup competition away for free then give tickets for the other one away for free, simple.

Its called togetherness Max.....its what the bigger clubs cannot do when they want to make a stand......... like the Arsenal black scarf movement when " Stay out of that Ground " posters were on walls all over North London....yet they still got their 60k every week as their real fans can easily be replaced by tourists and part timers.....

When a club has a loyal following 35k can be reduced to 14k at the drop of a hat if need be.....as we proved last night.....something owners of clubs with a loyal fanbase need to remember !

And Max ive seen Sunderlands " proper support " over years mate.............glass half full or glass half empty springs to mind :D

Bollocks, everyone knew it was all over before the game so saved their money/time/energy.

You can't sugar coat it with that East End Boys Together crap.

Even the City fans knew it was not worth going to a foregone conclusion :toast:

Cheers, D.
