She will stop till the end wether its a 20min dig or a 20 hour dig. This is just my opinion I no everyone has there own standards of digin dogs. Quote Link to post

**Lurcherman** 32 Posted June 13, 2013 Report Share Posted June 13, 2013 Stay all day , straight in no messin about and will search and clear the burrow if nothing at home , good with other dogs around the hole, and I personly like a dog to mix it up bit 2 hard or soft but that's me , my friends like rock hard dogs and even one like only keeps pure sounders , but the mean thing is up and don't move it get moved about, and its hard to get one to do it all Quote Link to post

She will stay till dug no sound no messing as well strong as an ox will not enter if no one is home fantastic nose . Rabbit Hunter 6,613 Posted June 13, 2013 Report Share Posted June 13, 2013 To me good breeding is the start of the jigsaw, then bringing on a pup and getting it out amongst everyday things progressing onto out coupled up on digs as it gets older, then when you think it's ready letting it go and hoping it has the drive, nose, determination etc. to see the job through until it's dug to is what makes a digging dog. I think a dogs upbringing bears a big resemblance onto how the dog will turn out as the final product, not saying all dogs make the grade but a good upbringing and confidence in it's owner helps a dog to be a better finished article IMO. 1 Quote Link to post
