Saw a lad selling these all metal ferret living houses his words on preloved ,i messaged him asking him had he ever seen cool hand luke and telling him that it would be like a cooker in the warmer months etc so maybe not the best idea.......no reply just wondered what you lads thought as i think they awful and would never put my stinkers in one

Winter would be just as bad as the summer, it will freeze up. I am a metalworker and could make one of those no problem but it is a non starter to me. Mine are made for 20mm external ply on 1/12 x 1 1/2 frame.

Mine are in a aviry converted to a ferret hutch 3 story and 8 by 7 ft court with tubes buckets swings etc lol over the top my lass says but they love it

not the brightest idea.

i think the way he's marketing them as ferret houses says a bit about the type of market he's pitching them to, pet owners.

guarenteed someone will buy one and cook / freeze a stinker...

it would be fine inside a shed or something like that but as a stand alone unit i dont think the guy that makes them will be winning a design of the year award unless he markets them as torture chambers.
