Tracy Priestnall 83
it would be harder to stop a terrier from hunting rabbits than getting one started, just get the dog out and let it hunt. Quote Link to post

jeemes 4,492
My pups 9month old now hes showin interest but he don't like leavin my side for to long he will go in a couple of feet then gets scared that im goin to walk of so comes out. dont push him mate, just take him where there is smell and walk. Let him discover it. When he goes in a run just stand still ,dont distract him and dont encourage him,let him know that when he follows up a smell you will still be in the same place when hes finished. Hes only a pup.
