Recommended Posts

Oh dear. Wouldn't want to be you. :icon_eek::laugh:

Seriously, just make sure you have declared any and all the skeletons in your closet and you'll be fine. They aren't out to trick you. They know all about you before they come. They just want to see what sort of a person you are.

As said above just make sure all your cards are on the table, had mine two weeks ago and he just asked about me and the company I keep. Have you declared the speeding tickets Craig? I didn't on mine and he said its always best to as he will know about them and if u haven't told him then it asks the question is this person trust worthy. Maybe you ain't as daft as me ha but if you haven't make him aware before he asks you. Will give you a few brownie poins lol. Good luck lads

Get some fresh home baking done for the time of your interview. ie a cake or a nice fresh loaf.

Won't do anything for your interview other than smell good. Hmmmmmn

Lol. You will be fine. Best of luck.

Mine went well considering he had to knock me out of bed at 4pm!! :censored: ...i was tired from nightshift and slept through my alarm, :icon_eek: but he was aware from the phone conversation the day before (where i also had to get woken up haha)...so my interview was in tracky bottoms a creased Tshirt and hair like Einstein ...to be honest he preferred it as my house was exactly how its lived in, i wasn't covering anything up by making it look as clean as the royal palace, and i wasn't clean shaven and looking like i was going for an interview with Sir Alan Sugar.

all in all it went great apart from the start :whistling: he said he felt no reason why i cant have my certificate (Shotgun not firearms...thats next years application :toast: )

As has been said be straight up, there switched on people so will see straight through you if you start talking shit.

If they ask you a question, and you don't know the answer just say you don't know, instead of blagging it and make your self look silly.

The FEO came round for my interview a month ago and was a nice bloke and a wealth of knowledge.

If you have any questions or are unsure of anything don't be scared to ask. That's what there are there for. I had a whole list of things jotted down so I didn't forget

My FEO just left and if im honest a nice bloke, he talked me through anything i was unsure about.

He knew everything about me, which was fine as i was upfront and very honest with him about everything ever something that happened back in 1999.
