In my own garden i found 6 dead blue tit chicks about a week off fledging, probably due to a lack of food, the 2 blackbirds nests in the hedge at the bottom of the garden, have been raided bloody magpies no doubt. Yeh its a tough old world for chicks out there. YIS KIC. Do you have cats? I'm no bird expert but if all 6 blue tit fledglings are dead, I'd put it down to the parents getting caught by cats. They take some risks getting food, 6 mouths to feed, lot of time exposed to predators on the ground etc. you'd think if it was lack of food, as the food demos he'd, the strongest chicks would demand fed and chuck the dead ones out.
