Carraghs Gem 1,675
Dont like bedlington blood in a lurcher, not overkeen on collie blood either. Dont like it when saluki blood is mixed with more traditional breeds like deerhound, wheaten etc Gud to see you keep ya options open :0For me its heavy collie saturated temp just does me nut in, they work well enough just they wind me up in there mannerisms. Im in a position where i can afford to be fussy... I think collie blood isnt enough on its own but is ok as part of a mix,Cant stand bedlington blood and i prefer native x's to be just that... I also think sal x's and bull x's can be usefull animals in their own right Quote Link to post

Phil Lloyd 10,738
Don't think there is any type of lurcher that I wouldn't keep,...I quite like em' all Obviously, it pays to keep something, that you have a use for,.but,.. I find most crossbreeds interesting... What I do regret, is not having such a fabulous choice, of top quality blood available, when I was a young man... 1 Quote Link to post
