What Lurcher X Wouldn't You Keep ?

Recommended Posts

Dont like bedlington blood in a lurcher, not overkeen on collie blood either.

Dont like it when saluki blood is mixed with more traditional breeds like deerhound, wheaten etc

Gud to see you keep ya options open :0

For me its heavy collie saturated temp just does me nut in, they work well enough just they wind me up in there mannerisms.

Im in a position where i can afford to be fussy... I think collie blood isnt enough on its own but is ok as part of a mix,

Cant stand bedlington blood and i prefer native x's to be just that...

I also think sal x's and bull x's can be usefull animals in their own right

had one few years back beddie whip grey... Nasty tempered f****r, attacked the other dogs including the least aggressive pet russel, food aggressive with humans and was dodgy with stock, only had it 2wks before i had it pts... An ugly b*****d as well... Cant stand the sight of beddie x's since that dog.

:hmm:Don't think there is any type of lurcher that I wouldn't keep,...I quite like em' all

Obviously, it pays to keep something, that you have a use for,.but,.. I find most crossbreeds interesting...

What I do regret, is not having such a fabulous choice, of top quality blood available, when I was a young man... :cray:
