3 Leg Terrier

Has any body on hear ever dug to a three leg terrier I ask this because my dog got a bad doing with a lurcher an my have to lose his front leg

My fell and moorland rep worked a Russell with three legs back in the 90's, lost it to a combine..........the leg that is

have one at the moment,hes been tried tested and passed with flying colours.3 legs,the back ones withered away.

could see it being a problem if its a front leg, dog wont be able to dig on in tight places. if its a back leg, i would give it a chance i reckon.

I dig my 3 legged terrier every week. She lost a front leg to a hog. She has no idea that she only has 3 legs, and is still heavy on the mix, in the mixer bayer.

Thanks for the replys lads the we dog had his operation and is doing well so fingers crossed he works again

Had a dog a few year ago{BUTCH} that lost its front leg right up at the shoulder.The stump eventually healed and Butch was dug to on several occasions afterwards,right up to its quarry every time,only time it hindered him was walking to and fro from the earths.
