Hi Frank,

I live in Ballina, North Mayo. I have been unemployed for a year now. As you probably know, there is no work coming our way. If there was no fishing or lurchers, I would be board out of my mind.

I know exactly how you feel. Not the best area for jobs, all the europeons have taken most, but its low payed, they dont seem to mind.

I use to ferret and lamp up near your way, is their many rabbits still about?

It got a bad dose of the mxy up their back in the 90's, if i remember, have they come back?

They seem to be recovering well. I havent encountered any myxis this year. There is plenty in most fields. The best areas near me is Ballylahan Bridge, Knockmore, Enniscrone. Loads of hares as well. Mink are really taking over. This will be my first year hunting with lurchers. I have two rescued dogs, and I plan to show them a good time. PS Mackerel are out around Ballycastle, and Lacken.

Sounds good.

If you want a hand with lamping ect, give me a PM. :)
