Big bald beautiful 1,231
Without getting slated plummers lurcher training book not a bad book. Quote Link to post
Simoman 110
A dvd called Purdeys Progress is very good. Books can't really teach you much, better chatting to folk and sorting the wheat from the chaff. Unfortunately we all learn a lot through trial and error............ Quote Link to post

blane5626 8
Tbh that's what I would like to do but because I am moving from canterbury to Inverness next month I don't see the point of trying to meet people round this area just because of the time frame that's why I am asking for more information about the breed and having a better knowledge about lurchers before I buy one and make a mess ov thing if you get we're i am coming from Quote Link to post
fazza123 516
You won't go wrong with B Plummer books, there a good read IMO Quote Link to post
Cleanspade 3,322
blane. wait till you are settled and once you know what the grounds like and what quarry is plentyfull this will help you decide what type of lurcher will suit you. i would also recomend purdy's progress as a first rate training aid. and read as much as you can. if nothing else it will keep you interested. good luck fella.
