Meeting Other Thl Members

Recommended Posts

The airgun section seem to be able to meet each other without bickering, so surely the other sections could meet occasionally without too much of a commotion?

It's good to put faces to names, but the names to faces section doesn't really count as the faces posted could have belonged to anyone.

I went out for a mooch with PIL last weekend. What a sound bloke he is. Met "one of the mods" earlier this year, also a good guy, and another (ex-member) last year who happened to be a complete bellend.

But you never know till you try do you?

Met a couple of decent guys and gals off here and some I was mistaken about and tbh they could say the exact same about me  Frankly going through life you'll always meet people you just cannot get along with, on the other side you sometimes meet someone and think yeah this person is ok then find out the total contrary later on

Some good people on here, Most of those I have met in real life have been sound enough with a few bell end exceptions. But you can tell most the time in advance anyway based on what they write on here

Met some really sound lads from here, some are sane and some are pure lunatics but not in a bad way.

ive also met Some of the most pathetic, whiney, delusional, wannabe hardmen as well... If i could “unmeet“ them id be delighted.

Good post Walshie...and a good idea...

I remember several years back,.an impromptu meeting up, of dozens of members from the, once great, Moochers UK Hunting forum.

Nothing had been officialy planed or arranged,..it just seemed to happen...

What I can say with some certainty,..having met a lot of hunting men over the last 50 years is,.."Nothing beats a face to face,.to clear the air, and put things into perspective"....

Folk always fear what they don't understand and it is great to put things right, address various problems and misunderstandings ,..and then,..hopefully,.move on....
