LordMiller 0
I used to own a HW77k in the 1980's. 25 years or so later I find myself in a position to shoot again and see that the HW77k has evolved to the HW97k. Should I look for a second hand HW77k or is the HW97k worth the extra investment? I will be shooting in a semi-urban environment on a city allotment. The alloment has a row of houses facing on one edge with fields on the other sides so a silencer will be required. My main targets will be pigeons and magpie's. woody22 0
Hi LordMiller, as a fellow newbie I was looking through the new members posted and saw your question. A word of warning as the law on airguns has changed significantly since you had an HW77 in the 80's. If plan to shoot on a city allotment, the law now requires you to be either the landowner or have the landowners permission, if not you can face a massive fine or even prison! shamo_uk 15
Hello mate and Welcome to the site I'm using the HW97K, can't fault it. Only thing its needed was an uprated spring.
