Mawders 595
If you can afford any of those rifles and don't care whether its a springer or pcp then the HW100 is a very solid rifle, multi shot for quick reloading for the ratting and good on accuracy. Just remember if you get a pcp you will need a bit extra for a dive cylinder or pump to charge air into the rifle. Sorry if you already know all this but I don't know how new you are to airgunning mate. Although the 410 will do everything the hw100 will but has a lesser shot count I believe. If its main purpose is ratting I would go the pcp route. Phil 1 Quote Link to post
audiguypaul 28
If you can afford the 100 have a look at the AA s510 too Wilts Shooting Center in Devizes has a 2nd hand 100 and maybe a 410, they also have an indoor range to try on, may be worth the drive, if you do i could always pop over and let you have a go on my 510. barrywhite 282
If it s to solve a vermin problem and money is no object hw 100 .If you want fun shooting and still capable rifle 97k .the air arms is still a good choice .If any of the guns came up cheap and in good condition second hand that would be my first choice . 1 Quote Link to post

fxshooter 18
Started my shooting career with an Air Arms 400, which is the single shot version of the 410, lovely piece of kit and a joy to shoot. I cannot comment on the HW97 as I have never shot one. 1 Quote Link to post
