hounddog3 744
As l said captain you need best both worlds. So what do you call a wizz bang after 2 ,mins????? Striaght lined jacker ??? incy if a dog put,s a hare under pressure for 2,3 min,s and the hare beats it fair play to the hare. it,s different what about a plodder get,s pulled all over the place and gets 3,to 4 turns on the hare which one would you want. fatasafool 216
The point is you have a wizz bang is f****d half min and half and a plodder does not have the speed to break the hare. What you need is a dog that as both or in another way a dog that has gears not just the one. take it you dont then Quote Link to post

banner man 587
i think its horses for courses, but you will get the odd 1 that do it anywhere but there are not 2 many of them, i think whizz banger or plodder if your happy with them then thats all that matters, hunting is a sport and if the dog your running is showing you sport than thats what counts 1 Quote Link to post
mucky paws 495
its a sport alright, but if your dogs get strait lined after a couple mins,or you have notting coming home its not nice, people will say its all about the run but if lads were been truthful of course its about the catch 1 Quote Link to post
louth tiger 1,259
you can make a fast one run longer but you canot make a slow one run faster horse for corses 3 Quote Link to post
mucky paws 495
true but a one trick pony not much good either, like a man asking you to go for a run but you cant go because the lands to big or to small Quote Link to post
