im a big fan of russell types but because they're now bred to X with pugs etc i can't find one true to type, KC reg types of people are ruining breeds as much as dog breeders are, i won't buy a russell unless i see both parents working

there are plenty good russells still being worked and bred.. the new crossing fancy breeds is nothing new. and wont affect good working lines

the KC. fat old women that now fck all about the working standards. they fck up every breed that they get there hands on. the silly minded people who register there mutts are just as bad, clueless.

Yep they send people round to kennels and force them to breed shite specimens..If you dont breed how they tell you they send in the heavies and then shoot your dogs and hang you from an apple tree

What benefits do you and your dogs get from having them registered donnyc?

Not a dig, a genuine question, I have no idea how it works or why someone would register, my mind says it would only be to get more money from pups.

I dont register all of mine just an odd one..It helps when I gift them abroad they sometimes need the paperwork..Price ? LOL If I ever sell then Im probably the cheapest out there average 150 a pop jabbed etc...Plus if I need to check out the breeding its only a click and I can find all I need..It was done in the first place as I wanted to take a few worked dogs to KC shows for a laugh but they banned the docked ones...The benefits the dogs get is a bit of paper saying they cannot work thats borders included LOL LOL

my problem with KC reg all comes from speaking to a "Saluki enthusiaste" who was telling me he wants to breed "almond eyes"

 

Salukis should be bred for they're ability in the field and not to look a certain way, as with any other breed of dog. this is where the show world of KC has gone tits up, breeding a dog to look a certain way and not to a certain job is ruining breeds

Donny the kc if used in the correct manner is a vast souce for records , like many well meaning orgs it was taken over by £££££££ chases and egotistical pims sipping cranks , am sick of being a secutary lol

That is the man breeding the dog not the kennel club..Its the breed clubs that come up with the breed standards,but that doesnt stop you breeding your own way and still registering them with KC. The kennel club is really just a register. What they do is not fool proof but its there if you want it i suppose,but you cant blame them for dogs being spoiled by showing..They do not breed or show dogs..Its not the show people spoiling the workers imo. They are transparant and easily avoided. Its the shisters posing has terrier men and selling names that churn out all the rubbish that invariably gets bred again in some vein hope of getting a worker or recooping losses.. Its a merry go round of shite. Its just easier to blame it on the show people and kennel club.

KC. reg parson. solid worker. nothing special but honest enough.

 

we also had a full KC wire fox terrier that flew to ground. lol. the parson was from very consistent lines all registered as howlbeck.
