For lurcher you have that choice of 2 or more dogs to put into one. My brothers whippet is completely crazy, but my lurcher is very receptive to training.

only kidding depends what i was using it for all my lurchers have a lot of whippet in them but i only lamp so if ferreting etc maybe a whip but still depends on the brains and ability of the individual dog
