Much as i agree with a lot of what the man and the party stand for.....if they are going to such lengths to forbid any former bnp member to join ukip............then they are as short sighted as any other party in my opinion !

I understand what you are saying gnasher but nigel farage has done his homework, ukip know the forces they are up against and how massive resources will be turned against them. Unfortunately many patriotic people get so angry and frustrated with things like mass immigration that they let their mouth run away with them, a few videos of that type of person used well in the media could destroy ukip.

 

UKIP is our great green countries last hope and anybody who is in anyway patriotic needs to get behind them in anyway way they can and not be offended with tiny details such as that. The bnp had their chance and blew it, move on.

couldnt agree more dido you got to play them at there own game.be the statesman and conduct yourself in a proper fashion.it dont scare the voters when you do that.ukip has amassed a load of BNP supporters who finally realised they were following a lost cause,but i think they also realise that ukip isnt the bnp and do things a lot more diffrently

But what is the difference between Lab/Con doing and saying any old bollocks to " look good "........and Ukip forbidding ex bnp members in order to " look good " ?

For instance lets say 1000 peaceful law abiding National Fronters of yesterday saw the light and turned to the BNP........who in turn have seen the light and turned to Ukip ......................they cant !!!................Thats a chunk of people being PUNISHED for evolving in their understanding.

Surely as a political party you either stand by your beliefs..........................or you dont......you dont single out and sacrifice a group of law abiding decent people to make a point ?

I understand what your saying but I think they have to sacrifice the 1000 say 0.1 percent in order to appeal to the mainstream masses who actually think almost the same......I believe you can vote for Ukip just not be a member if you've been a member of bnp/edl of which iv been neither.
