kranky 507
2 years old and 30TTS 3/8 x 5/8 DH x GH. He can get down to pick up bunnies if needed. Top speed is phenomenal, he can be in top gear within 5 strides and can run on any ground. He can turn, jump anything his quarry can and get the power down quick enough to get back on terms with anything that slips past him. This fella was a first x DH x GH and was 32TTS. He was a fantastic fox dog and killed plenty. He needed some room to wind up though and only got into top gear when he had the room to stretch out. He caught a few bunnies but struggled with them and couldn't turn as well as my current dog. 1 Quote Link to post
jjbull 38
29" retired now but did the business, turned tight enough for rabbitts and a good turn of speed he took a few strides to get up to full speed but after that he would just glide Quote Link to post

The 5/8 bred looks a lot like a first cross I knew years ago,and your description would apply to him as it does to your own dog, very nice atb Quote Link to post

derekbrown 176
We measure all ours by foxes caught.all this shit with inches to the shoulder is a load of shite.breeding and heart is everything.once the dog can run at a fair pace then height means nothing-if they really want to catch em they will! 2 Quote Link to post
