Saluki Whippet Greyhound

Recommended Posts

I have 2 saluki whippet greyhounds, and the younger one seems a bit shy his 15 months, and the elder one is 3 an half,

and he is stable as any thing.

A lot of people are weary of the saluki cross as in them being a bit deaf when called, although i believe my self, it is an age thing with this cross, because my older 1 of the two was jittery up untill about 18 months old, but i could not ask for a more understanding dog,in both work and obedience.

I believe also to be calm round this type of cross, as in if you are a hot head, as we can all be sometimes, ive noticed that this cross are a lot more jumpy..

But as for their working ability, they have plenty of heart

and once you are their friend, they will do any thing you ask..

It would be nice for any other comments from owners of this cross to share and also any pics, i will try and get some pics up of my two but my daughter will have to sort that, cheers.
