Err.. Problem

Recommended Posts

My jill has over the last 2 or 3 days started losing hair around her eyes. Like an area around her eyes looks like it is bald and pink. Never seen this before but she has been in contact with my other ferrets since this ocured.

Has anyone else had anything happen like this? Is it something to worry about?

Also, it might help to know that she was recently taken out of season by a snipped hob, and has already had a litter this year.

She might just be run down i could be wrong though. My mates ferret got skinned on the bonce off a old buck last season so he put some nu stock on and within a week all the hair had grown back in. Th eyes are a sensitive area and with nu stock being cream the ferret could get it in there eyes just an idea gibby let us know how you get on

sounds normal to me mate my albino jill went like this was worried to start with she looked bad started with her eye's then most of her head the she lost it all to a shorter coat she now looks as good as ever my big hob is half way threw his shot now . i didnt notice so much with my polecat jill though but i think it might just be since she's darker it wznt as noticeable so i wouldnt worry to much .
