Guest BIG FRANK Posted August 16, 2007 Report Share Posted August 16, 2007 well i had a call from my cousin again sunday morning asking are we out tonight mate .i said yes no probs about half nine ok see you then . half nine came so off we went we was out for 2 hours and saw nothining .i said lets try down near the tip . bingo first field big dog fox about 70 yards lined up on him (CRACK) he fell . picked him up and went a bit further down the road . bingo 2 sets of eyes pulled off the road and drove slowly down the side of the stubble field to get the right side of the wind . out the truck on the bonnet with the rifle lamp on first fox was about 110 yards lined it up (CRACK) it dropped . lamp off u caller on wait 2 min put the lamp on with red filter SH*T fox 20 yards in front of me . it run back i was following him threw the scope when he got to about 100 yards les shouted oy it stopped (CRACK) it fell so lamp off u caller still going waited 2 min lamp on with red filter again bingo 1 more about 100 yards again lined up on it(CRACK) it fell . lamp off u caller still going waited 2 min lamp on nothing this time . so we picked up and moved on. saw nothing just about to call it a night when i picked up a set of eyes about 2 fields away again on stubble so we drove slowly down the side of the field right side for the wind it moved crossed a dyke into the next field so we switched the lamp off and drove slowly antil we were level with it i got on the bonnet switched lamp on with the red filter there she was about 200 yards stood on top of a trail of straw . lined up on her (CRACK) she fell then i herd you jammey ba***rd so after we picked her up we called it a night . here is a few pics for you to have a look at just goes to show what a slack night can turn into great photos mate Quote Link to post
