Blaise 2,322
No link with terrier but... Weather is unsual cold these days in France. It's dangerous for vines. In Burgundy, they're spraying water on the vines during the night. Ice around burgeons protect the tender plant inside. Another way, the most famous places (Chablis grand crus) are heated with a lot of small fire. Mens and womens are fighting freeze during all the nights. Look at these pics from Aurelien Ibanez https://www.(!64.56:886/media/set/?set=a.1317290344954298.1073741834.520266094656731&type=3 5 1 Quote Link to post

Blaise 2,322
Take a look at the new AFEVST website. www.afevst.org May be an English version later... 5 Quote Link to post
neil cooney 10,416
Very good job there Blaise. If I'd make one criticism it's that it's a pity that the Patterdale is mentioned along with the Welsh, Cairn and Border terriers ,but that's the French opinion, LOL. I translated it and it's a good site for terrier PR. I might even buy one of the ties from the shop. I'd look very smart, LOL. Keep up the good work . 3 Quote Link to post

Their are some working welsh terriers in France Neil, a digging friend took on a dog that didnt hunt wild boar well with the rest of the pack of welsh, he had to school it, had it out me for a look at the end of proceedings. Also I know a friend of Blaises & one of his digging friends had a welsh that done a bit in the ground, these would of both been KC (or french equivalent L.O.F.)! 1 Quote Link to post

fat man 4,741
4.jpg One badger bolted by bitch, another bolted by the dog and 3 others in the end. Blaise you are lucky men in that you can legally dig to badger. Can i ask an honest question,i realise you dont use locaters on your terriers thats your choice or laws but on a dig how many drops would you make to eventually reach dog and game as in holes dug, just cutious as i can remember pre-locator digging to terriers and it was not always a 1 hole job.
