TC Thanks for the pic tc. i am a novice regarding stop nets i have only used preset ones before. I have put end pins on one with the intention of attemping to learn how to run out a long net . 6 yds is what i will start with before moving on to a longer net. i have run it out and picked it up a few times this morning a experienced netter would have kicked me up the arse watching me. im going to keep on practising then maybe in time i will move on. Tiercel 6,986
If you have run out a stop net there is no reason why you could not run out a full net. We all started somewhere and as long as you can set a net out you will find your own way of setting and shooting the net, there is no right way or wrong way, nearly everyone does it differently. Just find a way that comfortable to you, other people can give you ideas but its your choice how you set and pick up. TC Edited March 22, 2014 by tiercel 3 Quote Link to post
