nasher1 258
I have a first cross beddy/whip he's 21tts a very good dog but I think he would be better a couple of inches taller with a extra gear, I think if I could put him over a grey that would be the dog to have. Quote Link to post
Richie87 401
Do you's think mine will grow any more ?? Quote Link to post

sikastag_1 689
Maybe an inch or so mate look at the knuckle on the front she won't grow much more. I don't know how a half x Beddy can be too heavy set tbh, a half x is a more robust dog than the 3/4 and for this you pay speed wise although a half x is still got a bit pace, a 3/4 the quicker dog but with more speed you pay a bit with robustness. Put a half x Beddy next to a half x wheaten and you'll see what heavy set is lol. 1 Quote Link to post

No offence to the lads that run them. I like them. I just like a fast dog. I don't believe my 3/4 grey 1/4 beddy is lacking anything as regards to being robust. He is tough as old boots. Atb. Gaz. sikastag_1 689
I like a fast dog aswell mate I have fast dogs but the wallet doesn't seem to like them as much as I do and for ferreting etc a half x Beddy is spot on, the more greyhound or whippet the more chance of injury, I've no doubt your dogs robust its qtr Beddy and rough coated , but not as much as a half x it'll be a finer animal traveling at more pace, anyway were going off subject lol Quote Link to post

troter58 1,711
half cross your losing a gear for a lamping dog and the 3/4 will gives that gear to work its rabbit = more in the bag not rocket science i have ran both and both make great mooching dogs prefer the 3/4 whippet beddy for what i do great to watch all action and they bounce well atb Quote Link to post

arcticgun 4,548
Howdy people just a quick one getting my boy is first do for ferreting lamping we narrowed it down to a beddy that's what he wants but I never had a whippet cross in 30 years lol and herd a lot of fowk say whippet x whippet greyhound or 3/4 whippet for bit of size and pace so I think my be beddy x greyhound will have more beddy in it but better size and pace 22/24 tts please correct me if am wrong lol Just lost mine today mate, she weren't the most expensive or pretty dog in my kennels, but I reckon she slotted more gear than all the rest put together, for a young lad starting out they superb first dog, do a bit of everything Quote Link to post
