Gaz_1989 9,539
Yeh there's no guaranteeing the size you want with greyhound blood in there. Kai is just shy of 27" 5 Quote Link to post
sikastag_1 689
My first x Beddy grey bitch is only 21 tts mate at 10 months dogs make 22-23 and that's plenty for ferreting Quote Link to post

sikastag_1 689
How's that bred tho gaz? Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
3/4 grey 1/4 beddy mate. Quote Link to post
sikastag_1 689
Sound mate, that's what you would have expected around tho was it? If you want under 24 inch whiskey get a first cross if you go any other way it could be bigger Quote Link to post
Gaz_1989 9,539
Personally I think a mix of beddy/whip/grey would be the ultimate. Keeping the size to a handy 22"-24" but still racey enough. For me the half x can be too heavy set. The 3/4 whip too small and the 3/4 grey too big. Beddy/grey x whip/grey 2 Quote Link to post
Richie87 401
That first cross of mine can half shift mate but its not really that heavy I suppose 1 Quote Link to post

darbo 4,774
There is no guarantee on size when whippet blood is added. There can be a fair bit of variation i have seen a beddy/whippet/grey 19tts. 1 Quote Link to post
