I think it does matter, I wouldn't like to think I was breeding to a certain line or dog and then getting told 3 or 4 generations later that the breeding was wrong.

theres not alot you can do about it you can only go on what you are told by the people in the no if it turns out to be another dog can you believe that either nt is the man in the no but i dont no him and its no good hearing things third hand so i will stick to what i no is right and thats digging my dogs and breed what i need myself
