Sjt657 191
If you get a tx200 don't think you will need to upgrade the power .. What are you hunting with it ? 1 Quote Link to post

AirgunGuy 362
Legally you can't take it above 12FPE without a FAC (fire ams certificate) so best to leave it as it is as they shoot geat from new Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,587
TX200s are not much at higher power. They are designed to be at their sweet and smooth best at sub-12 ft/lbs. If you have an FAC and want to put an air rifle on it, the best thing is to buy an HW80 and have it Titan tuned. No better spring rifle at FAC level power in my experience. The only advantage in FAC power air is that you shoot to the same ranges as sub-12. It just gets the pellet to the target faster. Do not make the mistake in thinking 20+ft/lbs will instantly enable you to achieve phenominal marksmanship at 100 yards because it won't! You will have a higher level of recoil to manage and the pellet must stable at around 20+ft/lbs. Not all pellets are. If you can shoot a spring rifle very well, you won't have a problem adapting. If not, you will never hit a thing with it until you have fully understood this level of recoil management and hold techniques correctly. Real power lies in real accuracy; and Davy's patience . And a well run sub-12 rifle like a TX200 or Pro Sport, or a tuned Weihrauch rifle will deliver all that you need and more. Simon 2 Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
seriously tho power isn't everything - a 9-10 ft lbs rifle will do the job to any sensible range if the pellet hits the right spot.. accuracy in putting it there, and patience to wait for the right shot opportunity 1 Quote Link to post

fret78 87
I know it's hard for the more experienced guys, but asking questions on here is research. Admittedly he should know the difference between hair and a hare, A1WOC is a prime example of over hunted hair, just to be clear No harm meant A1WOC. 1 Quote Link to post
