Casso 1,261 Posted June 2, 2013 Report Share Posted June 2, 2013 A lot has been said about obedience and training which is fine but the one thing I would add is not to fall out with the dog over little issues, jumping up or similar actions which can lead to the dog having negative associations with coming into your space You want the dog to fully embrace coming to you with a free spirt and eager to make contact that's the basis of a good natural retrieve 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
