Now I'm just hazarding a gues here,,,but do you not think a farmer on here might be ever so slightly put off by your user name.......   I mean come on alarm bells are ringing ,,,lol

Always paid for permission   Either offer help, game, or a bottle at Christmas

There are that many lads at it these days, to be honest anyone letting you on their land to hunt that has a good head of game IS DOING YOU A FAVOR!

A lot of coursing lads over here used to chuck 20 quid in the hat,, and give it to the farmer or keeper at the end of a days coursing,,, well worth it if you ask me,,,, of course this was all befor the ban..

As for rabbiting I would never pay for ,,,

Does he mean buying him the odd pint or giving him a 50 every time you want to run dogs on his land? If its the latter your off your head but if its just the odd pint down the local thats sound enough

hes happy enough with a score gets him an oul drink on a sunday night.he likes an oul bit of pruck like most countrymen so just ad the score onto his bill free coursing lol.plus hes keeping an eye on the motor .theres been a few tyres slashed round this place.

Not too bad then so  as long as the landowners with a few rabbits on their land dont get the same idea

I once offered a farmer £100 to fly my hawk on his land at bunnies...he was well upto it but on checking the land they was very few bunnies so i sacked the idea..as far as paying to do pest controll with dog's and ferret's..no chance i would rather pack in if i had to pay for that..

Had some permission with a mate in the 90's, until he mentioned it to one of his mates, who then approached the farmer and offered him big money for sole rights, what a cnut!!!!

As for paying I always drop the farmer a bottle at Christmas, would I pay for permission? Yes if it was a hunting utopia
