Lovely to see she's recovering! Must be a great feeling for her and yourself.

 

How do you rate the hydro therapy? I've seen a dog physio nearby who offers it not only as a recovery tool but as a muscle buildup program for working dogs. Based on your experience, do you think it would be able to achieve that with hydro therapy?

I felt the same about my bitch after she'd had meningitis. She was never 100% afterwards: had an odd roll to her gait, couldn't turn tight, and her spine was as stiff as a lump of wood, but I went on

Made the hairs on my neck stand up reading this thread..........................I remember I had to pay the vet my rent money once for an emergency op on my old English bull terrier but to me they are members of your family and you should do the very best you can for them and you have. well done .............. :thumbs: nice looking animal by the way.

thanks guys.

 

the hydro worked wonders in the very early stages....where any movent was good....

 

she didnt like the water...so once she got moving we done whatever she preferred...

 

which was out on the front.....with the kids making a fuss of her.

 

soon got her tail wagging and her legs moving :yes:
