What Happens To Last Years Dogs

Probably been bought up before, but what happens to last years dogs.Or shouldnt i ask. I am now seeing the usual lets look at next seasons pups.

Have one dog myself three this Oct who will be with me till her old age, works ok not the best not the worst i have had.

But as I am not relying on her feeding my family does it matter..

Yes before someone says it Iam a bit of an old softiee when it comes to my dogs.

My two are being treat like family pets, fed on good food, going for nice little walks, and then lounging about in a sunny spot in the garden. Until the summer is over.

i might take them fishing down the river on the 16th

Some boys are in the game to have and to breed the best they can so if a dog is not up to standard over a season time to try again some boys treat dogs as pets some treat them as tools of the trade it's personal choice but if you were to keep them all you would need some room

Mine is here to fill the pot, i know he was bred to be a specialist hare dog but to me it doesnt matter if hes good daytime or not... his job is to bring home a reasonable quantity of edible game day or night.. enough to feed himself and hopefully enough to provide plenty of fur and feather for the household as well... Is it wrong that i bought a specialist coursing hound and i intend to use him as an alrounder? I dont know or care...

if he fails to bring home the dinner i wont be keeping him as a pet, he has the whole of this season to prove that my faith in him is justified...

thats ok saying that, but say you bring a pup- dog on and it wont do the quarry wanted to hunt .What you going to do just make it in to another pet.? We no there just dogs and not machines, but why lie to your self,? you in this game to work your dog to its best abilty, and if its not gaing that what you going to do end up with dozen or so dogs in your kennels.? If a dog give me a 100% and tries to catch+ kill what you put it on then it stays here.In fact i kept a lurcherx lurcher bitch that gave her heart to every quarry you put her on,she was with me 14 years. if they dont try why keep it .?

that bitch i wrote about took day- hares,and fox and good on rabbits as i said she would try dam hard on any quarry you put her on, and thats good enough for me .It having dogs that pre ban you bumped into the above quarry, that (don) have the heart to have go at the quarry,that you keep carnt see the point off keeping, as you know in your (heart) its not good enough Another good dog i had was Blaze he was ok on rabbits, got the odd hare,and good on fox, but with him he gave 100% and you had respect for him, and thats what you want+ need from any dog if your honest with your self.

 

Blaze had him 4 1/2 years but got hurt badly 1 night lamping, and that was the end of him .But that what try to get from any pup-dog i keep, or whats the point

drink always dulls the memory It was me that 'you' asked to match on HWH, my dog was 18month at time, you where running land near my mates permisson, and you where the one who asked for the match when I made comment the hares there were not too clever at the place you ran em on your vids and the dog made a right chew of em, I agreed to match then you did not want too know, and yeah I still got the dog and I still run him KC weren't even on HWH back then fella, so I think an apology is required this was long before your booting off there when you told em you PTS the dog for fook all,

 

 

just remembered you backed out via pm and said you was just on wind up etc no harm etc etc am just not the type to pursue that or exploit it
