The bird im flying this year

This is the little male harris im flying this year,he was flown with little success last year at rabbits but at 1.3 hunting i think feather is more for him.Corvids are the order of the day i think maggies,jackdaws and maybe partridge also.Hes still moulting on the bow at the moment but has settled in well

Marks sound Graham....busy having fun with his spar!

 

I will be pulling her in a week or so then il get her manned up and hunting asap after that!

Nice to see someone not obsessed with the size, I breed a lot of Harris Hawks, and everyone thinks bigger is best but like you say it all depends on the quarry you choose.

One pair of mine produce females around 2lb 10oz and males around 1lb 11oz but i often have to talk buyers into taking smaller birds when they say it will be for feather.

I will be interested in what your lad does this year. I bet he's quick!

looks like a pot licker , just like that sprocker you got :feck: only kidding mate hope they both do well for you :thumbs: ali offers still here for a day or two out, just got 600 partridges yesterday
