gnasher16 30,242
gnash do you no the bitch to that dog??? I should do mate i bred the 3 generations behind him sorry mate i meant did you no the bitch the dog you sent over got put to or vice versa if you sent a bitch over lol Oh right.....yes a while after i sent the dog over to him my pals brother moved back as well thats at his place in the 4th pic down he got hold of a bitch from the same family but direct from the source of the blood kind of thing......he still keeps them to this day......and Lab he still gets the odd dig off the others but he just cant be arsed with it all its funny to watch.............in the right hands he probably would of been a good performer as he is very typical of his line in terms of intelligence........but he just likes a quiet life Oh i see.....bit of in home fighting..... Thought it might have been local cats on his road trips....... i doubt a cat would last long in his jaws lab............. Got to get a hold off it to crunch though........... He,s plenty quick enough when he needs to be dont worry about that !..........Bird trapping is big business there during the migration they use mist nets, lime sticks and all this carry on.....the ol boy was telling me that up until a few years ago the dog could creep up on a bird and take it out the air upon lift off he might get 1 in 10 but still not bad for a bulldog ! think lab was pulling your pisser there gnash lol that dog looks fit as fook now never mind as a young un lol Nope....genuine question. It looks a very fit dog but i dont care how fit or quick a dog is a cat can make a mess. Anyway it doesnt matter its got f**k all to do with cats anyway....... I wouldnt say the dogs fit .....the shape he,s in is just down to good genetics.....he stays trim due to the ground he covers week to week but he eats whatevers put out for him so his diets none too clever............that said i dont think i saw a cat the whole time i was there, maybe he,s eaten them all eh
WILF 47,353
Just shows you, we all fanny on about dogs diets but just look at what good order that something pretty much left to its own devices can be in......that animal looks spot on to me and I am guessing that's not by anyone's design ?

I mean who really can decide just to go on holiday for a week and then just say "Aww i'm enjoying myself i'll make it a month" when they have jobs and so forth. I'm off the firm belief if i manage to put the graft in the now and get a few breaks along the way i can retire at an earlish age and enjoy my later years.....

johnny boy68 11,726
Great stuff gnash and it must've been invigorating for you to have stayed longer, theres a saying about the simple things being the best and your "holiday" certainly proves that point.

I dont really know mate i wasnt looking that deep......i just meant the feeling i got from owning a nice house or nice car( material things )............didnt compare to the feeling i got from the month i just had knobbing about in the open air which cost the price of a flight !..................Maybe our outlook changes the older we get i dont know....but im coming to the conclusion theres a lot of weight in the saying " the best things in life are free "

baw 4,360
I'm not so sure guys. I think the reason gnash enjoyed it so much was because it was so diverse from his own lifestyle. I truly believe that variety is the key to happiness. Prob if your friend spend a month in your lifestyle gnash he'd love it too but both of you would be sick of it after 6 months. Doesn't matter who you are, whether your a rock star filling stadiums or a normal guy with normal hobbies, you need to do different things or it becomes mundane...... The norm.
Born Hunter 17,787
Well Gnash, when you feel the need to free yourself of all your material needs I'm sure I can find space......... Wondered what you were up to recently, thought you might have been slumming it in the wilderness somewhere! Any info on the kenneled dogs mate? They look sorta 'houndy'? Amazing to think a dog bred how I imagine that dog to be living the life it is reasonably trouble free. Over here it'd be on the 10 O'clock news!
