get yourself an old wax jacket that's a bit big for you stitch some pockets in it and away you go

I agree with that but I just use mine for daytime ferreting.

 

there's no way i'd paint a stainless basket, defeats the object of paying for quality steel.

 

i would have stainless for the extra strength and the fact it wont be rusting if its quality stainless.. built to last, but i would not buy just for the shine....

I would say that was a good idea mate, I was going to have a good at a wooden one.

 

you'll struggle tigging that together LC, plus if you make a mistake your OA kit just wont cut the mustard :laugh:

I like playing with wood mate, been making a few bow back ferret boxes this week.
