Ratreeper 441
Why not be a bin man? Good hours and good salary from what a mate of mine said, he was a private school educated toff and he did it for a couple of years and loved it, he said they got paid so much for over time he was making more than he ever has since. Or another mate of mine does alright at a cake factory being a 'supervisor', 4 days on and 4 off which isn't bad and he just stands around and has to eat a few cakes for quality control every day. This is a chap with no gcse's, sacked from every job and just dosses about getting high so it was like the lottery for him, he should be an inspiration to anyone who says they can't get a job because no-one could be in a worse situation now he has his own flat etc

RubyTex 1,957
Thing with jobs i've found they're mostly this 'zero hour contract' thing, so one week you might get 40 hours the next you'll get nowt. Some work is better than none of course but that's no good for long term. More and more are offering it though, and self employed sales positions so in other words peddling Sky tv or double glazing in shopping centres. Commission based. That isn't a proper job IMO. You just gotta do what you can to get by
