goz1960 52
Quick trip out with the Ultre SE after Davyt63 sorted it out in his man shed then took it home and set it up at 25 yards in the back garden. This evening I spent a couple of hours on my only permission, first bunny taken at 30 yards then the second at about 25 yards only small but the ferrets will eat well tonight. 2 Quote Link to post

goz1960 52
Pick mine up on Thursday. First time I have used it today, seems a little down on power over the crono (10.5458) average over thirty shots, but does not seem to effect the accuracy. Quote Link to post

I would be over the moon with that pal I really would. You will find that the SE will work very well and is very accurate with the right pellet at that power. My wives SE loves AA Fields. I fill hers to around 190 to 200 bar if i remember correctly which puts the rifle straight in the sweet spot. Si. Quote Link to post

zini 1,939
Great news mate. Davy's a good man. They are awesome rifles. So accurate its got to be witnessed to be believed due to there price once inbthe sweet spot and matched with the right pellet. The 4 brands I would seriously look at are: JSB Exacts at 4.53mm, AA Fields at 4.52mm, RWS Super Fields at 4.52mm and Bisley Magnums. These brands are really good in most Ultras Quote Link to post
goz1960 52
Have to try JSB Exacts 4.43, JSB Exact Express 4.52, JSB Exact 4.51, H&N 4.50 and Air Arms Field 4.52 and you are right with Davy he is a real gentleman. Quote Link to post
reaper1064 285
Hi mate BSA set their rifles low on purpose due to the fact that over time the power increased, as long as it shoots straight it will have enough umph for the job. Chrono it after a few more tins and it should be putting out a bit more. Remember accuracy over power usually wins out. Good shooting mate. Quote Link to post

villaman 9,983
Very easy to up the power on them if that's what you want. Try Daystate heavies or jsb heavies both 10.3gr same pellet by the way BSA airguns prefer heavy pellets ,at about 50-55 yards the heavies poi are about 25-30 mm higher than a 8.4 gr ie aa or jsb.
